A Tiny Silver Purse

I love handbags, pocketbooks, purses, tote bags, really any type of container for my stuff. I really like when I get a new handbag and transfer all of my daily items from one bag to another. Or pull an old one from the closet and use it once again.
The other day, I decided to use a bag that I hadn't carried in a while and of course, there were bits and pieces of papers and other items left in the bag from the last time I carried it.
In this Levenger seafoam green leather bag was an invitation to a baby shower, a red pen, a lipstick, a couple of dollars, a handful of change, a fortune from a cookie, a nail file, a couple of receipts and a half of a pack of gum.
The baby shower invitation was for a mom who has had two more children since the one featured at this party!! The receipt from a craft project long ago started and finished and given away.
What in our lives do we tuck away, whether forgotten or saved for another day? Is it time to let go of those little things that are just taking up space?
It is like a little treasure hunt, who knows what you will find in a seldom used bag...and who knows what treasures, once forgotten, are ready to be found and which ones are ready to be let go!
